Celebrated on a cloudy and windy morning, the Diocese of Laredo’s Memorial Day Mass commemorated the fallen heroes that lost their lives while serving their country in the armed forces. Fr. Iden Bello celebrated Mass and acknowledged the sacrifices made by all the veterans present at the Mass and all those that have passed away.

The ceremony included the traditional laying of the wreath, 21 gun salute, playing of taps, moment of silence, and benediction. Also, there was the unveiling of the Veterans Monument, generously donated by Dr. Joaquín and Bárbara Cigarroa.
