On behalf of his Excellency, Most Reverend James A. Tamayo, D.D., the diocesan staff, and community, we join in prayer for the repose of the soul of Mr. Felix Salazar, brother of Reverend Monsignor Alejandro Salazar, pastor at San Martin de Porres Church, Laredo, Texas. Felix was called home to our Heavenly Father last Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Brownsville, Texas. Felix received the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and the Commendation of the Dying. All funeral services will be held at a later date. Our prayers on behalf of the Diocese of Laredo, go out to our brother, Reverend Monsignor Alejandro Salazar, and the Salazar family.
