Those couples celebrating their 25th or 50th wedding anniversary in 2020 are invited to attend the Silver and Gold Wedding Anniversary Mass. Each couple will receive a special certificate signed Bishop Tamayo and a commemorative coin with his coat of arms so please send the registrations as soon as possible so we can order them in time. We will be accepting registrations starting November 18, 2019.

On behalf of Adult Faith Formation, we are passing this information on the upcoming Women's English Cursillo Retreat that will be held from December 5- 8, 2019. 

 

In 2009, the Medical Missionaries of Divine Mercy (MMDM), at the request of Bishop James A. Tamayo, DD, partnered with the Diocese of Laredo and launched the medical mission to serve the indigent healthcare needs in our community. The MMDM is a group of medical doctors, dentist, optometrists, nurses, priests, deacons and volunteers from St. Laurence Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

Dear Diocesan Family,

We would like to invite all of you to become part of our diocesan Annual Altar Server Ceremony Mass that will be held at St.Patrick Church in Laredo on October 19, 2019. The Mass will begin at 10:00 AM. Doors will open at 8:00 AM. 

- Before the Mass, we will be having a time of prayer and worship for our children and young adults.

- Attendance to our "MINI- Prayer Session" before Mass, is NOT MANDATORY.

- Pews will be Reserved by parishes, ONLY FOR  THE ALTAR SERVERS. 

 
We invite you to participate in our live, on-air radiothon which will take place the week of October 7- 11, 2019 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hundreds of guests, including Bishop James A. Tamayo, priests and parishioners from throughout our diocese will visit KHOY throughout this week-long fundraiser.
 

Meet us to pray for the pro-life cause from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 on the sidewalks from Hillside Road and McPherson Road in Laredo. Join us in witness to our belief that every human life matters and is sacred from conception to natural death. This will be a peaceful opportunity to pray for respect for the life of every human being. Those of all faiths are welcome!
