National Catholic Schools Week 2019 (CSW) will be observed in dioceses around the country January 27–February 2. This year’s theme, “Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.,” focuses on the important spiritual, academic and societal contributions provided by a Catholic education firmly rooted in the Truth of the Gospel.

The Diocese of Laredo, through the Catholic Schools Office, supports the academic excellence and quality information in faith, morals and personal development of every student in our six elementary/middle school campuses and one high school. The Diocese of Laredo desires that each of its Catholic Schools remains vibrant and fiscally solvent.  

The Diocese of Laredo's Annual Pro-Life Rosary Walk is a prayerful and peaceful gathering where hundreds of people ask God to protect human life at all stages from conception to natural death. Join us as we pray the rosary on a 2-mile walk culminating with prayer at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

 

9 Days for Life is a multi-faceted novena for the respect and protection of every human life. Each day, a different intention is accompanied by a short reflection, suggested actions, and related information.

Our Lady of Guadalupe School will kick off Catholic Schools Week with La FEria, a traditional Mexican-themed feria to celebrate the 115th Anniversary of OLOG school. Join them on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. for Mexican food, mariachi music, games, booths, loteria and lots of fun! Find the posters in the gallery below.

For nearly a half century, the Catholic Church in the United States has celebrated National Migration Week, which is an opportunity for the Church to reflect on the circumstances confronting migrants, including immigrants, refugees, children, and victims and survivors of human trafficking.
