For almost 150 years, the Cathedral of San Agustín has been a landmark and reference point for our citizens. The bell tower punctuates the skyline as if saying goodbye when going into Mexico and bidding a warm welcome upon your return. This Cathedral is not only part of the city’s crest, but also the spiritual seat of our Catholic faith in Laredo and historical jewel of our community at large.

As a reminder, all are welcome to the 17th annual Red Mass tomrorow, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 6:00 PM. At the San Agustín Cathedral, the Mass will honor all members of the Judiciary and Legal Profession with keynote speaker, The Honorable Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice for the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals. Most Reverend Bishop James Tamayo will celebrate the Mass. Join us as we pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ as one united family and church.
