The Catholic Daughters of the Americas St. Jude Court #2363, calling to mind the birth of Jesus Christ, wanted to offer a small gift to the first baby boy and first baby girl born on Christmas Day at both Doctors Hospital and the Laredo Medical Center. Members of the Court also donated socks and bibs for other babies who will be born during this Christmas season.

The Catholic Daughters of Americas is open to anyone age 18 or older who has a desire to learn more about the Catholic faith while helping the Church and people throughout the community. The group meets regularly to pray and plan ways to assist those who are in need. Due to the pandemic, meetings have been taking place virtually, and newsletters are mailed out to members who are unable to connect online to keep them abreast of current activities.
