DROP OFF YOUR UNUSED MEDICINE THIS SATURDAY

DEA Take Back Day

The Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back will take place Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10 AM to 2 PM.

San Martin De Porres Catholic Church is among the Diocese of Laredo sites participating in the DEA Take Back.

The DEA encourages everyone to bring their medicines that are being unused to official collection sites, and partake in proper disposal of discarded pills and patches.

By disposing of unused medicines during the Take Back, you’ll be helping to eliminate prescription drug abuse and remove the threat of accidental poisonings and overdoses in the home, which tragically take the lives of many every year.

We encourage everyone to take part in the DEA Take Back and join their effort to create and maintain risk-free medicine cabinets and safe homes.

This public service is completely anonymous and free. The DEA will not accept liquid medication. Please collect and drop off pills and patches.
