Parish Announcements

I Sunday of Advent, November 29, 2020
1. This weekend we begin Advent. “When the Church celebrates the liturgy of Advent each year, she makes present the ancient expectancy of the Messiah, by sharing in the long preparation for the Savior’s first coming.” First Sunday of Advent marks the new Liturgical Year. On the first Friday of this month, December 4th we will be having the Holy Hour following the evening Mass at 5:30 p.m. The Lord invites us to this devotion, saying: “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will enter his house and dine with him, and he with me.” We need to pause in our busy live and spent some time in silence with Jesus; otherwise we cannot hear His voice and be ready spiritually to celebrate Christmas. 2. On the First Saturday of the month, December 5th we invite you to honor the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Mass at 9:00 a.m. During Advent season, together with Mary we are waiting for Jesus’ coming. Please be sure to take home our bulletin for other important announcements. Thank you!
