Register Online for the 2018 Annual Diocesan Conference

Wednesday, April 18, 2018

“Every Christian is a missionary to the extent that he or she has encountered the love of God in Christ Jesus: we no longer say that we are “disciples” and “missionaries,” but rather that we are always “missionary disciples” (Pope Francis Evangelii Gaudium #120).

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is our great joy to invite you to our Annual Diocesan Conference to be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the LISD Performing Arts Center (2400 San Bernardo Ave., Laredo, TX 78040). Registration and hospitality begin at 8 a.m. This conference is a wonderful opportunity to deeply understand the call to discipleship and be formed with the tools to go out into the world as missionary disciples. The theme of this conference is “Disciples of Christ: Witnesses of God’s Love” which is inspired by Pope Francis’ first apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (Joy of the Gospel).
