"We are CALLED" / "Somo LLAMADOS," the title of this year's High School Youth Conference (DLYC), is hosted by the Diocese of Laredo Youth Ministry. Why participate? Pope Francis challenges all of us to become missionary disciples who are not afraid to witness the faith. We believe that a joint witness of thousands of young people and their prayers will indeed help young people to see themselves as witnesses of Christ and members of a young Church. The High School Youth Conference caters to all 9th to 12th grade students from parish religious education programs and Catholic schools, together with their teachers, catechists, youth ministers, parents, chaperones, and pastors are invited. The dynamic speakers this year are Rapper and Inspiration Speaker from Catholic Extension, Jaime Torres and Radio Broadcaster for KHOY 88.1 FM and host of The Word and Music Podcast, Erica Johnston.
