All church personnel and volunteer must complete the following forms and training:

• Employee/Volunteer Information Form 
• Code of Conduct Form (English/Spanish)
• Criminal Background Check Authorization Form (English/Spanish) 
  • Service/employment is contingent upon satisfactory background check results.
  • Renewed every 3 years
  • Online Criminal Background Check Authorization Form is available. 
• Safe Environment Training 
  • Safe Environment Curriculum - Laredo / Ambiente Seguro (Safe Environment) – Laredo
    • Only Church personnel will complete the Safe Environment Curriculum training by the first week of hire.
  • Renewed every 3 years 

All forms must be sent for processing to The Office of Safe Environment prior to volunteer service/employment with the diocese.

To access the Safe Environment Training site go to https://laredo.cmgconnect.org/ and create a new account or login to your existing account. Once you login the required training will be waiting for you on the main dashboard. Should there be problems with the registration or course process, technical support is available on the training site or a call can be made to 1-888-804-9643.

The Office of Human Resources conducts reference checks for prospective employees.

The Office of Human Resources maintains a central database of all church personnel and volunteer. Parishes and Schools must forward all completed new hire employee forms and volunteer forms to HR.
